Very rare and weird vertical pre-hihat cymbal mechanism. Another milestone on the scenic route from bassdrum mounted cymbals to todays hihat.

This pedal was also pictured on the cover of the '50s Trixon Paradiddle booklet as an example of an old fashioned drum set.
