L & S Reflex Junior Pedal
Indianapolis, USA

L & S was founded in 1930 by U.G. Leedy, dean of American drum builders. Operated by his son E. M. Leedy and Cecil Strupe, who is known for many inventions like the Strupe Master Tension Drum, a '30s predecessor of the '70s Arbiter Autune.
L & S most expensive pedal was the
more modern two-post Dictator while the Reflex was the standard model single clamp pedal, incorporating the speedy straight line action, lateral ball adjustment, and adjustable spring tension with light weight and compactness.

The Reflex Junior lacked the full size footboard, but had the straight line action and positive clamp.
Frosted aluminum finish and highly polished aluminum footboard. Available in the thirties for six dollars.
