1950 Leedy & Ludwig "knob tension" drums

Leedy & Ludwig had merged and presented their revolutionary new tuning system in 1951. No more drumkeys needed from now on, just dial the knobs! Well, this didn't catch on to say the least, and Leedy & Ludwig died in 1955.

This set is in very good condition, everything works as it should. The Marine Pearl has a few hairline cracks near the overlap on the floortom. All the chrome is nice with some scratches here and there. The cymbal holders have been replaced in the early sixties with Ludwig arm holders, and the snaredrum strainer is replaced by a Camco strainer that works fine. This a very rare set, with stunning looks!

14 x 22 bassdrum
9 x 13 small tom
16 x 16 floortom
6.5 x 14 snaredrum
